Roger K. Laxton, CPA, CGMA

Roger was raised in the Ada, Oklahoma area and is a graduate of Ada High School.  He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Accounting degree from East Central University.  He has held his CPA license since 1990 and is licensed in both Oklahoma and Texas. Roger also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.

After starting his career in 1988 as a staff accountant with a small life insurance company, Roger gained extensive experience in the fields of accounting, corporate finance, and management working with small companies as well as multi-national corporations. He has held the positions of Corporate Controller in the construction and insurance industries and served as the Chief Financial Officer for a multi-national, multi-billion dollar corporation in the life reinsurance industry.

Working in public accounting, Roger has assisted small and medium sized businesses in the retail, medical, oil and gas, and service industries with their accounting and financial management needs. He has worked with businesses, individuals, and trusts and estates with their tax needs, preparing countless federal and state tax returns.
